Pastor David has been the pastor
of The Bridge since November 2003. He and his wife, Michele,
came to Austin from Oklahoma City, OK, where they were
serving as associate pastors.
David & Michele met while
attending Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
He proposed within the first 10 minutes of meeting her. She
declined. Two years later ('94), they married, and have
served together in local church ministry in the DFW
metroplex, east Texas, Oklahoma, and now Austin.
David has a B.S. of Pastoral
Ministry and a M.A. in Practical Theology from Southwestern.
Michele has an education degree and taught 2nd grade until
their first baby arrived. They now have four
daughters-Madison, Macy, Mackenzie, and Madelyn.
Whether playing in the
neighborhood, skiing at the lake, shooting hoops at the gym,
driving around the golf course, or spending "quality time"
at the first Mexican food restaurant they can find-the
family loves hanging out together.
