The Helping Hands Ministry helps meet the needs of people connected with The Bridge Community Church through a network of servants available to serve others.

Imagine a network of people just waiting to serve. Imagine people’s needs being met both in the church body and in the community. Imagine people being loved thru service. Imagine Galatians 6:10 being lived out in the community – “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”

Can you help someone?   Can you be on standby until the opportunity arises?   Then simply sign up below to be a servant that will “serve one another in love.” Gal 5:13b.   You will be notified via email when there is an opportunity to serve someone and you can have the chance to respond.

We are looking to match your God given practical talents with the needs of someone else.

Some examples are below but not limited to:

Take Pictures/Movies?                    paint a house, fence or wall?

Set Up Chairs/Tables?                     pull weeds, cut grass or pick up leaves?

Make Coffee?                                     change a light bulb, light switch, light fixture?

Vacuum Carpet?                               clean a sink, toilet or bathtub?

Clean Toilets?                                   drive a car and take someone to an appointment?

Fix a car?                                           Fix a meal?

pack or unpack for a move?

Anything else you can think of to be of service?

1. Wait for an opportunity

2.When there is an opportunity to serve, you will be emailed with information relevant to make a decision. Do you have the ability to help? Do you have the skill(s) needed, the time or resources available, or are you geographically close to the person?

3.Pray and ask if this is something that God would have you respond to.

◦If yes, then respond to the email and the coordinator will give you the next step(s).

◦If no, then respond to the email and go back on standby for the next opportunity.
